Scooby Dooby Doo....DVD's A-Plenty! (Review)
Over half term Warner Bros sent a bundle of Scooby Doo DVD's to keep us entertained on rainy days - all available for under £6 each and a long time family favourite. No-one of any age here objects to a spooky mystery or two and some meddling from those pesky kids.

Scooby Doo And WWE: The Curse Of The Speed Demon DVD Review
I was always a fan of Scooby Doo, so it's nice that my children have all enjoyed the TV show and movies too. The latest DVD release is a bit of a collaboration, and features some of the most colourful characters from the world of WWE, as well as some particularly monstrous Monster Trucks.
In typical Scooby Doo fashion, a trip to an off-road racing competition is made all the more exciting by the fact Scooby Doo and Shaggy have parked at the side of the track, which had my children laughing right from the start of the movie.

Ad | The Isle Of Wight UK Summer Holiday with the #mysterymachineontour
Last Summer we had a fantastic 10 days holiday on the Isle Of Wight, and we took the LEGO Scooby Doo Mystery Machine with us on tour. I posted all of my photos on Instagram and Twitter at the time, but in case you missed them, here's our holiday - the LEGO version....
It's a long way from Manchester to the Isle Of Wight, so an early start, 15 toilet stops, 2 spilt drinks, 1 stalker bee who chased us for miles, and when we boarded the ferry that afternoon Manchester was 10 degrees colder than Portsmouth, and rainy...
We stayed on an amazing eco-friendly campsite, (and I'm not just saying that because it's owned and run by 2 very good friends of ours). I have never had such a fabulous view while I washed the pots, or such sunshine while I ate my breakfast at 6.30am...

LEGO Scooby Doo Stop-Motion Animation from WB Kids - and a £150 Smyths giveaway!
If you follow me on social media then you may well have noticed just how much we love our LEGO Scooby Doo Mystery Machine, despite the fact that we lost part of it off Yarmouth Pier!
You may even have spotted that our latest LEGO acquisition was the Scooby Doo Mystery Mansion (review will follow). We even blogged about our Mystery Machine On Tour when we went to the Just So Festival, and I will at some point post about the Isle Of Wight #MysteryMachineOnTour
It seems we aren't the only ones who love LEGO Scooby though, WB Kids have taken it a step further and are creating stop-motion animation from the Scooby Doo LEGO sets. They're only about a minute long, each one tells a little story, and they're very well done!

The Just So Festival LEGO Scooby Doo Photos
If you follow The Brick Castle on Instagram or Twitter then you may have noticed we're having a bit of fun this Summer using the #MysteryMachineOnTour hashtag, taking photo's of our LEGO Scooby Doo Mystery Machine and Shaggy, Scooby, Fred and the Zombie. We did lose part of The Mystery Machine in the process, but it's been well worth it.
If you missed my review of The Mystery Machine, that went live just before we went on our holiday to the Isle Of Wight. It's the perfect handbag sized model to take on tour..

The LEGO Scooby Doo Mystery Machine set 75902 review
We had a really exciting delivery today - the brand new LEGO Scooby Doo The Mystery Machine set 75902. I wasn't expecting it yet, so this is awesome timing because it can come away on holiday with us! This set is now released tomorrow - along with the other Scooby Doo sets, including the Mystery Mansion and bargain Mummy Museum Mystery.
The Mystery Machine is recommended for age 6+, and is a smaller model with around 298 pieces (the press release isn't ready, nor do UK boxes help with this, so I had to count!). In the set are 3 minifigures - Shaggy, Fred and a Zombie, and Scooby Doo himself....
